She has lived in Spain, Japan and Peru and currently runs a traditional medicine program with Amazon Promise, a medical outreach organization based out of Iquitos, Peru, which advocates for the continued use of traditional healing techniques and plant medicine remedies in conjunction with western medicine outreach in the Peruvian Amazon. She speaks Spanish and English and enjoys traveling abroad.
She especially enjoys emergency medicine, alternative healing modalities and women’s health.
She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s of Art in Spanish from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA. Sally worked as a Labor and Delivery RN for 5 years before practicing as a Nurse Practitioner. She completed her Nurse Practitioner training through the University of Washington and South University and completed her Family Medicine internship through La Familia Medical Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
